Summary: Responsible for financial, operations, facilities and administrative functions for Community Enrichment Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Serves as the Secretary and Financial Officer of the corporation.
Prepare for and ensures readiness for annual financial audit.
Prepares financial statements and is responsible for all internal controls.
Provides guidance to CEC staff including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs.
Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
Serves as HR liaison with PEO.
Supervises accounting staff and office support staff.
Coordinates operations, financial and human resource activities to obtain optimum utilization and effectiveness of resources.
Reviews operating reports and directs the resolution of problems to ensure minimum costs and to prevent operational delays.
Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training in non-profit accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Email; internet, and Database software.

This is accomplished through our integrated service delivery model of programming, which includes housing for homeless and low-income families, food and stability necessities, financial and employment coaching, and adult education services in Tarrant County.
