DescriptionSummary:The WIC Program Nutritionist functions as a team leader, performs the tasks of a "Competent Professional Authority" (CPA), which include assessment of WIC eligibility criteria, assessment and referral of clients to other agencies for medical/social problems which need follow-up, conducts nutrition education classes, prepares nutrition education materials for participants who attend classes at the mobile sites, provides consultation for WIC participants with special dietary needs, conducts breastfeeding education, assumes responsibility for all food voucher issuance activities in assigned clinics.
